YouTube и дизайн-студия Kurzgesagt создали и опубликовали видеоролик, в котором обвинили Facebook в воровстве оригинального контента. Произошло это сразу после объявления о том, что количество ежедневных просмотров видео в Facebook достигло рекордных 8 млрд, сообщает sostav.ru

В ролике отмечается, что Facebook настраивает свои алгоритмы выдачи таким образом, что видео, загруженные в социальную сеть, показываются пользователям выше, чем видео с других платформ. Кроме того, счётчик просмотров видео в соцсети увеличивается тогда, когда видео включено не менее трёх секунд, а прибыль от просмотров видео на Facebook получает только соцсеть, а не его авторы.

Авторы ролика сообщают, что из 1000 самых просматриваемых видео на Facebook в первом квартале 2015 года 725 были скачаны с YouTube и загружены в социальную сеть. Таким образом, подсчитано, что создатели контента на YouTube лишились около 17 млрд просмотров.

Видео дизайн-студии Kurzgesagt было опубликовано на YouTube в начале ноября. С тех пор ролик уже набрал почти 1,5 млн просмотров, отмечает Business Insider.
