Комітет виборців України прогнозує низьку явку виборців у другому турі виборів мерів 15 листопада. Про це в ефірі "5 каналу" сказав генеральний директор КВУ Олексій Кошель.

"Під час другого туру в нас може бути рекордно низька явка, особливо в містах, де великий розрив між кандидатами", - заявив він.

Кошель зазначив, що виборці, чиї кандидати мають значну підтримку, можуть не піти на вибори, виходячи з того, що їхній кандидат і так переможе.

Разом з тим, на його думку, це може зіграти злий жарт із лідерами першого туру виборів, оскільки кандидати, які посіли друге місце, спробують мобілізувати виборців.

Кошель також спрогнозував, що надалі явка на місцевих виборах буде знижуватися, що відповідає загальноєвропейській тенденції.

Як повідомляло агентство, Міністерство внутрішніх справ посилило заходи безпеки в містах, у яких буде проводитися другий тур виборів мера.
