36-летний Тэтсуя Або находится в "стерильной" зоне московского аэропорта "Шереметьево" с конца мая. В интервью НТВ он заявил, что основной причиной для этого стали политические соображения. По словам Або, журналиста по профессии, из-за того, что он вынужден публиковать неправду, он не хочет возвращаться домой и просит оказать помощь в получении российского гражданства.

"Гражданин Японии живет на свои деньги, у аэропорта в связи с его пребыванием претензий нет. Рассчитываем, что уполномоченные государственные органы решат вопрос с пребыванием данного гражданина", — сообщили РИА Новости официальные представители Шереметьево.

По словам официального представителя, японец обеспечен всем необходимым, "законы не нарушает и по законодательству оснований для выдворения его из международной зоны аэропорта нет".
