Консервативная партия Великобритании во главе с премьер-министром Борисом Джонсоном, согласно данным экзитполов, побеждает на выборах в Палату общин.

Консервативная партия Великобритании во главе с премьер-министром Борисом Джонсоном выигрывает на досрочных выборам в Палату общин и получает большинство. Это следует из данных опроса, проведенного социологической компанией Ipsos Mori по запросу ведущих телекомпаний Великобритании (BBC, ITV и Sky News). 

Так по предварительным данным консерваторы получат 368 мест из 650, что на 50 больше, чем на выборах 2017 года. Главные соперники консерваторов, лейбористы во главе с Джереми Корбином, получат 191 мандат (на 71 меньше, чем в 2017), Либерально-демократическая партия — 13 мандатов, а Шотландская национальная партия — 55.

Данные опроса дают возможность предположить, что выбора 2019 года окажутся самой большой победой консерваторов с 1987 года и худшим результатом лейбористов с 1935 года.

Ожидается, что в случае победы партия Джонсона немедленно ратифицирует Brexit-соглашение и Великобритания покинет Евросоюз.
