Демократ Джо Байден сумел опередить республиканца Дональда Трампа в Джорджии на президентских выборах в США.

По данным телеканала Fox News, разрыв между Байденом и Трампом составляет 917 голосов.

Победа в Джорджии дает кандидату 16 голосов выборщиков, необходимых для избрания президентом.

 

Fox News отмечает, что у Байдена сейчас 264 голоса выборщиков, у Трампа — 217.

Если Байден таки одержит победу в Джорджии, это позволит ему избраться на пост президента.

 

Подсчет голосов на президентских выборах в США находится на завершающей стадии. Данные не обнародовали шесть штатов: Аляска, Невада, Аризона, Пенсильвания, Северная Каролина и Джорджия.

Трамп уже заявил о намерении обжаловать результаты выборов во всех штатах, где недавно вырвался вперед Байден.
