В Санкт-Петербурге проходят массовые митинги против действующей в России власти. Издание отмечает, что данные полиции и СМИ по количеству задержанных значительно отличаются. 

Так, начальник Главного управления по обеспечению охраны общественного порядка МВД РФ Юрий Валяев сообщил журналистам, что в Санкт-Петербурге были задержаны порядка ста человек за участие в несогласованных акциях, которые прошли в один день голосования. Он, в частности, сказал: «У нас в Санкт-Петербурге задержано около 100 человек и в Москве несколько человек за нарушение законодательства». При этом он отметил, что речь идет о несанкционированные акции против пенсионных изменений.

В свою очередь «Медиазона» сообщила следующее: «В МВД утверждают, что в Петербурге задержаны около 100 участников протеста. Корреспондент «Медиазоны», который наблюдал за задержаниями, считает, что задержанных было больше, не меньше 300. Ранее «Фонтанка» писала о 400-500 задержанных». 

"В Киеве бы уже вышли полгорода после таких задержаний. Впрочем, мы от московитов многого не ждём", - проккоментировал задержание украинский блоггер  Карл Волох
