У Білорусі напередодні так званих виборів президента влада заблокувала на три дні для користувачів за кордоном частину білоруських сайтів, які використовують хмарний хостинг. Про це повідомляє білоруське видання Belsat.

Зазначається, що обмеження запровадили за розпорядженням державного Оперативно-аналітичного центру, який здійснює регулювання діяльності із забезпечення захисту інформації.

Видання цитує інтернет-провайдера hoster.by.: «З 10:00 25 січня до 23:59 27 січня 2025 року білоруські хостинг-провайдери обмежать доступ до віртуального хостингу з-за меж Республіки Білорусь. Ці заходи обумовлені загрозами для об'єктів інформаційної інфраструктури та інформації, що обробляється з їх використанням». 

Провайдер попередив своїх клієнтів: якщо вони користуються зовнішніми сервісами, їм потрібно підготуватися до того, що доступ до їх ресурсів буде обмежений.

Belsat інформує, що хмарний хостинг передбачає запуск веб-сайту або програми на кількох серверах, розміщених у хмарі на потужності хмарного провайдера. Часто такими сервісами користуються великі сайти пошукових систем та соціальних мереж.
