46-річна індійка Сміта Срівастава отримала звання нині живої людини із найдовшим волоссям від Книги рекордів Гіннеса. Каже, не стиглася із 14 років. Її волосся має довжину 236,22 см. Про це повідомляє сайт Книги рекордів.

Cміта розповідає, що її надихнула не стригти волосся одна із індійських акторок. 

“В індійській культурі богині традиційно мають дуже довге волосся. У нашому суспільстві вважається, що стригти волосся – це несприятлива дія, тому раніше жінки відрощували волосся. Довге волосся підкреслює красу жінки”, – розповіла жінка Книзі рекордів Гіннеса.

Також Сміта старається не втрачати жодної волосинки уже 32 роки. Якщо волосина випадає, вона підбирає її і кладе у спеціальний мішечок. 

Зазвичай Сміта миє голову двічі на тиждень. Весь процес щоразу займає до трьох годин.

Саме миття займає 30-45 хвилин, потім жінка витирає волосся рушником. Найбільше займає процес розплутування, розчісування та укладки – він триває 2 год.

Зазвичай Сміта заплітає волосся у косу чи зав’язує у “пучок”.
