У США оприлюднення результатів кокусів - первинних голосувань в штаті Айова в Демократичній партії було відкладено через "невідповідністі" в їхніх результатах
 

Як повідомляє Радіо Свобода, голосування, яке відкриває процес виборів кандидатів в президенти від Демократичної та Республіканської партій, почалося о 20 годині за місцевим часом.

Офіційні результати очікувалися приблизно через три години, однак вони не були оприлюднені в призначений час.

Керівництво Демократичної партії послалося на "невідповідності" в результатах, що, можливо, спричинить перерахунок голосів.

Утім, в партії зазначили, що зламу або втручання в комп’ютерну систему не було.

Кандидати не стали чекати результатів і виступили з промовами, заявивши про свої успіхи на кокусах.

Стало відомо, що колишній віцепрезидент Джо Байден вже звернувся з листом до організаторів виборів, зажадавши пояснень.

Голосування в Айові, як очікується, повинні визначити трьох-чотирьох реальних претендентів на партійну номінацію в президенти з майже десятка претендентів.
