Чинний президент США Дональд Трамп не полишає надій повернути собі владу та не визнає свою поразку.

Він звернувся до сенаторів та закликав їх “боротися за результати виборів”, інакше Республіканська партія може припинити своє існування.

Про це Трамп написав у своєму Twitter.

Зокрема, Трамп знову наголосив, що він “виграв ці вибори зі значною перевагою”.

“Сенатор Мітч Макконнелл та сенатори-республіканці повинні бути більш жорсткими, інакше у вас більше не буде Республіканської партії.

Ми перемогли на президентських виборах зі значною перевагою. Не дозволяйте їм вкрасти це”, – написав Трамп.

Нагадаємо, що 15 грудня голова республіканської більшості в Сенаті Мітч Макконнелл публічно визнав демократа Джо Байдена обраним президентом США. Цей вчинок розгнівав Трампа.
