Большинство жителей России знают, кто такая телеведущая Ксения Собчак, однако больше половины относятся к ней скорее отрицательно, следует из опроса 2015 года, итоги которого 19 октября представил ВЦИОМ. До этого социологи не публиковали результаты этого исследования

95 процентов респондентов сказали, что хорошо знают или что-то слышали о Собчак. При этом с 2012 года доля тех, кто хорошо знает Собчак, выросла с 57 до 72 процентов.

Положительно к Собчак относятся только каждый пятый опрошенный (21 процент). Еще 60 процентов ответили, что относятся «скорее отрицательно». 19 процентов респондентов затруднились с ответом.

В 2016 году ВЦИОМ провел другой опрос, посвященный внесистемной оппозиции. Большинство опрошенных (72 процента) сказали, что никогда не слышали такого выражения. Знакомы с таким понятием 12 процентов респондентов. Только 4 процента из тех, кто знает об оппозиции, отнесли к ней Собчак. 15 процентов считают оппозиционером Алексея Навального, 10 процентов — Михаила Касьянова.

18 октября телеведущая Ксения Собчак объявила, что собирается баллотироваться в президенты России. Она предложила расценивать себя как кандидата «против всех». Собчак заявила, что будет готова снять свою кандидатуру в пользу Алексея Навального, если того не допустят до выборов.
