Американская корпорация Google планирует ввести подписку для видеохостинга YouTube, которая позволит пользователям пропускать рекламные ролики во время просмотра онлайн-видео. Платная подписка может быть запущена в течение 2015 года,пишет biz.liga.net

В электронном письме, направленном производителям видео для YouTube, которые получают часть доходов от рекламы, говорится о запуске услуги просмотра роликов без рекламы на основе ежемесячной абонентской платы. Создатели видеороликов будут получать доход с абонентской платы, однако в документе не указано, какова будет стоимость подписки для конечных пользователей YouTube.

"Новая платная услуга позволит нам создать новый источник доходов, который пополнит ваши быстрорастущие рекламные доходы", — говорится в письме команды YouTube. Документ также предлагает обновить условия своих контрактов для запуска новой услуги.
