Демократ палаты представителей США Эл Грин вскоре запустит официальную попытку импичмента президенту США Дональду Трампу. Об этом сообщает The Hill, сообщает "Украинская правда".

Демократ Эл Грин, штат Техас, готовит письменную заявку с предложением импичмента, который должен стать первым официальным шагом к началу этого процесса.

Издание отмечает, что у заявки Грина мало шансов на поддержку в палате представителей, которая контролируется республиканцами. Однако такой первый шаг Грина только подчеркивает возрастающую тревогу у многих демократов в отношении президента.

Сообщается, что критика Грина в основном сосредоточена на увольнении Трампом Джеймса Коми, бывшего директора ФБР, который вел расследование о вмешательстве России в выборы 2016 года в США.

Ранее сообщалось, что Дональд Трамп мог уволить Коми из-за активизации расследования о вмешательстве России в выборы президента США.

Как известно, оба комитета по разведке (Сената США и Палаты представителей) расследуют связи членов кампании Трампа с Россией по делу о вмешательстве в выборы.

ФБР также проводит свое расследование относительно вмешательства России и представителей кампании Трампа.
