Первый заместитель руководителя фракции "Слуга народа" Александр Корниенко не исключил вероятности того, что выборы в местные органы власти будут проведены ранее запланированного срока. Об этом сообщает "Интерфакс-Украина". 

"Если децентрализация будет завершена раньше, летом или осенью 2020 года, то, возможно, будут выборы раньше, чем осень 2020-го", - отметил Корниенко.

Он подчеркнул позицию своей партии о том, что "местные выборы надо проводить после завершения децентрализации".

Очередные местные выборы должны состояться 25 октября 2020 года.

Напомним, в середине августа Александр Корниенко сообщал, что партия "Слуга народа" намерена ускорить завершение децентрализации, чтобы провести досрочные местные выборы. 

Представитель президента в Верховной Раде Руслан Стефанчук также заявлял, что в Офисе президента Владимира Зеленского рассматривают вопрос о досрочном проведении выборов в органы местного самоуправления.
