Сервис хранения копий веб-страниц The Wayback Machine, расположенный по адресу web.archive.org, заблокирован российским надзорным органом Роскомнадзор.

Поводом для блокировки стала опубликованная на сайте страница под названием «Одиночный джихад». Согласно данным на сайте Роскомнадзора, ограничен был доступ только к конкретной страницы. Но, как сообщают российские пользователи сети, по состоянию на 12:40 с помощью привычных инструментов не открывалась ни адрес сервиса The Wayback Machine (archive.org/web/), ни сайт некоммерческой организации archive.org, пишет Радио Свобода.

Именно через этот сайт сейчас в Украине доступна« Памятка потребителям при посещении оккупированных территорий» , которую в России считают «публичными призывами к осуществлению действий, направленных на нарушение территориальной целостности России». После обнародования этого сообщения Роскомнадзор заблокировал сайт организации (ozpp.ru), которая распространила «Памятку».

The Wayback Machine - сервис, который в течение 18 лет собирает копии веб-страниц. На сервисе можно посмотреть, как выглядела та или иная страница в определенную дату. Архив содержит более 485 000 000 000 страниц.
