Президент США Дональд Трамп повинен вибачитися, якщо він дійсно збрехав про те, що його передвиборча кампанія не мала жодних зв'язків з Росією під час виборів 2016 року
 

Про це заявив сенатор від Республіканської партії США Джон МакКейн, повідомляє Еспресо.ТВ з посиланням на CNN.

Він прокоментував інформацію, оприлюднену виданням The Washington Post стосовно того, що Трамп нібито просив керівництво Національної розвідки і Агентства національної безпеки США допомогти йому відтермінувати розслідування ФБР щодо можливих зв'язків з Росією. 

Сенатор зауважив, що був стурбований такими повідомленями, втім зауважив, що висновки робити ще зарано. 

"Оприлюдніть все це і, при необхідності, вибачтеся. Американці вміють прощати", - наголосив МакКейн.
