Сегодня в Польше проходят парламентские выборы. Об этом сообщает Польское радио.

Представитель ЦИК Польши Кшиштоф Лоренц ранее предупреждал, за нарушение избирательной тишины 12 октября грозит штраф от 20 злотых (более 4 евро) до 1 миллиона злотых (233 тысяч евро).

Сегодня поляки выберут 460 депутатов Сейма и 100 сенаторов.

К нижней палаты парламента (Сейма) избираться будут 5112 кандидатов, это составляет в среднем 11 человек на одно место. В верхнюю палату парламента (Сенат) - 278 кандидатов: почти три человека на место.

Право голоса имеют граждане Польши, достигших возраста 18 лет.

Многие в стране считают их историческими, например, бывшие президенты страны Лех Валенса, Александр Квасьневский и Бронислав Коморовский.

"13 октября нам предстоят не обычные выборы: на них решится, останется ли Польша демократическим правовым государством или продолжит превращаться в авторитарную диктатуру", - говорится в их открытом письме, сообщает Deutsche Welle.
