Галина Тимченко ушла с поста главного редактора «Медузы». Эту должность занял ее заместитель Иван Колпаков. Тимченко остается генеральным директором и учредителем компании Medusa Project.

По словам Тимченко, кадровые изменения потребовались в связи с необходимостью разделения полномочий в компании. «Сидеть на двух стульях — точно не самое правильное решение», — сказала Тимченко, говоря о своем участии в дальнейшем развитии «Медузы».

Заместителем главного редактора назначен Александр Поливанов. 

Галина Тимченко основала «Медузу» в 2014 году, после увольнения с поста главного редактора «Ленты.ру». В «Медузе» работает группа бывших сотрудников «Ленты». Иван Колпаков был заместителем главного редактора «Медузы» с момента основания компании.
