В Конгрессе США призвали "решительно ответить" на пропаганду России. Об этом заявил конгрессмен из штата Нью-Йорк Элиот Энгел в ходе слушаний в Конгрессе в среду, 15 апреля, передает "Голос Америки",пишет Сегодня

"В сочетании с кибератаками и другими тайными операциями, эти новые возможности и агрессивность Владимира Путина представляют прямую угрозу для наших союзников и наших интересов. Эти меры хорошо финансируются, эти меры работают. И на эти меры нам необходимо решительно ответить", – заявил он.

По словам председателя комитета по иностранным делам Палаты представителей конгрессмена из Калифорнии Эда Ройса "российская пропагандистская машина работает на полную мощность, стремясь к подрыву демократической стабильности и разжиганию насилия".

"Российская пропаганда потенциально способна дестабилизировать ситуацию в странах-членах НАТО, повлияв на нашу решимость обеспечить безопасность",- уточнил Ройс.

Ранее министр обороны Литвы Юозас Олекас заявил, что российская пропагандистская машина не имеет аналогов в мире. По его словам, пропаганда РФ "работает, не останавливаясь".

"По уровню наглости она, вероятно, не имеет аналогов в мире. Но правда рано или поздно выходит на поверхность", – отметил Олекас.
