Служба безопасности Украины задержала в пятницу, 30 января, журналистов русского пропагандистского телеканала Lifenews.

Об этом в своем Twitter сообщил генеральный директор канала Арам Габрелянов.

"Журналистов Lifenews в Киеве задержало СБУ. Везут в неизвестном направлении. Заявляют, что проверяют связь с каким-то минированием метро", - говорится в сообщении.

Сам LifeNews сообщает,что корреспондента и оператора задержали в Киеве, объяснив произошедшее тем, что журналисты канала могут что-то знать о заложенной бомбе. Вскоре после телефонного звонка в редакцию связь с сотрудницами канала прервалась, их местонахождение неизвестно.

— Мы ехали на съемку — на запись интервью с агроэкспертом — и вызвали такси к станции метро «Площадь Льва Толстого». Когда мы сели в машину, к нам подсели двое мужчин, они показали удостоверения и представились сотрудниками СБУ, — рассказала корреспондент LifeNews по телефону.
