Санчес поклав відповідальність на опозиційні партії за неможливість формування більшості в парламенті, повідомляє DW.
Раніше багатомісячні переговори про формування уряду в країні завершилися провалом. Король Іспанії Філіп VI після зустрічей з лідерами партій вирішив не висувати кандидатів на посаду голови кабінету міністрів. Жоден з кандидатів не володіє необхідною підтримкою парламентаріїв, зазначили в канцелярії монарха.
Майбутні вибори стануть четвертими за останні чотири роки. На парламентських виборах наприкінці квітня найбільше голосів набрала Іспанська соціалістична робоча партія (ІСРП), проте вона не отримала більшість мандатів в парламенті.
В якості ймовірних союзників соціалістів могли виступити ліві популісти з партії Подемос(Ми можемо). Однак непереборні розбіжності між генеральним секретарем ІСРП Санчесом і лідером Подемос Пабло Іглесіасом привели до неможливості домовитися.
