На аверсе - контур крымского полуострова, а на реверсе - благодарность за его возвращение от Министерства обороны Российской Федерации. Медаль, которой были удостоены активные участники событий весны 2014 года, теперь свободно продается на интернет-аукционе. Судя по данным лота, житель Чебоксар продал награду всего за 400 рублей, пишет "КП-Крым".

Напомним, что серебряные медали получили несколько членов крымского правительства, включая главу Крыма Сергея Аксенова, военнослужащие, силовики "Беркута" представители самообороны, и даже глава Чечни Рамзан Кадыров.

Приказ об учреждении медали в Минобороны РФ утвердили 21 марта 2014 года. В положении о медали сказано, что ею награждаются военные и гражданские лица "за заслуги и отличия, проявленные при обеспечении безопасности мероприятий" во время проведения всекрымского референдума.
