Бывший губернатор Одесской области Михаил Саакашвили, которого недавно лишили украинского гражданства, может одиннадцать лет провести в местах лишения свободы согласно четырем статьям уголовного производства. Как передает «Обозреватель», с таким заявлением выступила Натия Сонгулашвили, занимающая должность прокурора Главной прокуратуры Грузии.
«По состоянию на сегодняшний день нами по отношению Михаиа Саакашвили осуществляется расследование четырех уголовных дел, согласно которым уже завершилось следствие и началось разбирательство в суде. Этими всеми делами в настоящее время занимается Тбилисский городской суд», - отметила Сонгулашвили. Также она добавила, что бывший глава Грузии является фигурантом по ряду дел. Речь идет об убийстве Сандро Гиргвилиани, растрате незаконным образом средств, выделенных Специальной службой государственной охраны Грузии на собственные нужды. К тому же, Саакашвили считают виновным в избиении жестоким способом Валерия Гелашвили, грузинского парламентария.
«В случае вынесения обвинительного приговора судом, Михаил Саакашвили может на одиннадцать лет оказаться в тюрьме», - добавили в прокуратуре.
