У Гімалайських горах з'явилась вершина "Героїв України".

Про це у ході безстрокового телемарафону "Україна понад усе" в ефірі "5 каналу" повідомив відомий телекоментатор Валентин Щербачов, який щойно повернувся з Непалу.

"Те, що ми обіцяли, наша сорокова гімалайська експедиція зробила. Тепер є зареєстрована і є сертифікат. Є Вершина Героїв України. Справжніх Героїв, тих, хто виборює свободу України, хто зараз на фронті", - зазначив він.

Зі слів Щербачова, він встиг офіційно зареєструвати назву в Катманду ще до початку руйнівного землетрусу.

"Поки не розвалилися там всі урядові будинки в Катманду я встиг зафіксувати назву. Це було до землетрусу, коли ми повернулися туди. І ми встигли звідти піти".
