Социальная сеть Facebook убрала из списка чувств эмодзи «жирный», который можно было выбрать в статусе наравне с другими ощущениями. Об этом сообщает Газета.ru

Ранее пользователи интернета начали кампанию в отношении Facebook с призывом убрать этот статус, поскольку он оскорбляет людей, обладающих повышенной массой тела.

«Жирность — это не чувство. Жир является естественной частью нашего тела. Все части нашего тела заслуживают того, чтобы их уважали и заботились», — говорилось в созданной активистами петиции.

В твиттере также появился хештег в поддержку петиции #fatisnotafeeling
