В немецкой столице, в Музее Берлинской стены открылась выставка «Майдан. Украина. Путь к свободе».

Об этом сообщает корреспондент «Немецкой Волны».

Выставка сравнительно небольшая: несколько десятков фотографий, плакаты, детские рисунки, картины и графика профессиональных художников, а также знакомые по видеосюжетам из Киева классические атрибуты противостояния на Майдане: булыжники из брусчатки, автомобильные покрышки с баррикад, противогазы и респираторы, защитные очки, самодельные бронежилеты и щиты, каски - стальные и пластмассовые, «коктейли Молотова», деревянные дубинки... Организаторы выставки заверили, что это оригинальные артефакты, привезенные в Берлин прямо с Майдана.

Как рассказал координатор мероприятия, певец Сергей Фоменко (Фома), «главная цель этой выставки, - показать людям, которые мало что знают о Майдане, кроме увиденного по телевизору и прочитанного в газетах, как это было на самом деле, - особенно с точки зрения художников и артистов».

«Мы хотим, чтобы люди в Европе и мире больше узнали о нашей украинской душе, выразителем которой и стал Майдан», - сказал на открытии выставки представитель МИД Украины Юрий Никитюк, добавив, что «выставкой мы хотим дать ответ на волну лжи, дезинформации и пропаганды, частично «накрывшей» и западную общественность».
