Уперше до складу німецького парламенту обрано двох транс-жінкок: Ніке Славік із Північного Рейну - Вестфалії і Тессу Ганзерер із Баварії.

Обидві вони представляють партію "зелених" і отримали депутатські мандати за земельними списками, передає DW.

За словами 44-річної Ганзерер, результат голосування став символом відкритого і толерантного суспільства.

Тесса (Маркус) Ганзерер - депутат баварського ландтагу з 2013 року, в листопаді 2018 року вона публічно оголосила, що є транссексуалкою. Ганзерер, яка має двох синів, ставить за мету спростити процедуру затвердження зміни статі в документах, що засвідчують особу.

Також вона прагне законодавчих змін, які дозволили б матерям-лесбійкам всиновлювати дітей. 27-річна Славік назвала результат голосування неймовірним.

Вона потрапила до парламенту у списку кандидатів від "Зелених" в західній землі Північний Рейн-Вестфалія. Досі в Бундестазі був лише один депутат-трансгендер.

Однак про це стало відомо тільки після закінчення його депутатських повноважень. Вибори до Бундестагу відбулися у Німеччині в неділю, 26 вересня.

Найбільшу кількість голосів отримала Соціал-демократична партію. Християнсько-демократичний союз разом з партнерським Християнсько-соціальним союзом набрав тільки 24,1% голосів.

Третє місце на виборах отримали "Зелені" - 14,8%.
