Фотограф із України Сергій Мельниченко переміг у міжнародному конкурсі фотографій Leica Oskar Barnack Award у категорії "новачок". Про це повідомляє "Новое время".

Українець представив серію світлин "Behind The Scenes", зроблених за лаштунками нічних клубів Китаю.

Мельниченко приїхав до Азію, щоб працювати танцюристом. Кожного дня він брав із собою фотокамеру. Організатори конкурсу оцінили цю ідею, заявивши, що жодному фотографу досі не вдавалося так наблизитися до китайського нічного життя.

"Він був за лаштунками, пропонуючи рідкісний погляд на дешевий розважальний бізнес. Його власний досвід танцюриста згодився йому. Зображення з великою чутливістю передають реальність жорсткої професії", - прокоментували світлини організатори конкурсу.

У нагороду за документальну серію українець отримав 10 тис. євро, камеру та об'єктив Leica M.

"Десь у Китаї на світанку після довгої нічної роботи: спітнілі трансвестити, дівчата в ванних із пивом, п'яні виконавці, ще більше п'яних глядачів. Побиті від танців ноги, панчохи в сітку, жорсткий світ вбиральні. Всі аспекти повсякденного життя в дешевому розважальному бізнесі для туристів і місцевих жителів в Китаї - хоча насправді це може бути де завгодно", - описує роботу переможця оргкомітет.

Сергій Мельниченко народився в Миколаєві в 1991 році. Він захоплюється фотографією впродовж останніх 8 років.
