 Українська мова вперше почала переважати в українському сегменті соціальних мереж. Про це свідчать результати дослідження, проведеного Центром контент-аналізу в жовтні 2024 року. 

Згідно з дослідженням, частка дописів українською мовою в ключових соціальних мережах склала 56% (проти 44% дописів російською мовою). При цьому у соцмережах Facebook, Twitter та Instagram частка дописів українською мовою встановилася на рівні 80-90%. 

YouTube показав незначне зміцнення української мови порівняно з 2023 роком, а ТіkTok, навпаки, продемонстрував незначне послаблення української мови.

Російські соціальні мережі використовуються переважно на окупованих територіях. Там домінує російська мова.

Практично всі області України показали за рік зростання кількості дописів українською мовою на кілька відсотків (в тому числі Запорізька й Херсонська області, попри окупацію частини територій). Натомість в Одеській області зросла частка російської мови.

Центр контент-аналізу використав для аналізу дописи з Facebook, Twitter (Х), Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, у тому числі і заборонених російських платформ — VK та OK. Всього було зібрано і проаналізовано 1,11 млн дописів, які були написані в період з 15 серпня по 15 вересня 2024 року користувачами, що вказали у профілі Україну (або українські регіони, в тому числі окуповані) своїм місцем перебування.
