Болгарія, Чехія, Канада, Естонія, Фінляндія, Ірландія, Латвія, Литва, Норвегія, Польща, Румунія, Швеція, Україна, Британія та США не визнають так званих "президентських виборів" в окупованому грузинському регіоні Абхазія, які відбулися 25 серпня.

Відповідна заява є у розпорядженні "Європейської правди".

"Так само ми не визнаємо легітимності чи результатів так званих "парламентських виборів", що відбулися в регіоні Південна Осетія / Цхінвалі Грузії 9 червня 2019 року", - підкреслили підписанти.

Країни підтвердили "нашу повну підтримку територіальної цілісності та суверенітету Грузії в межах її міжнародно визнаних кордонів".

"Ми вкотре закликаємо Росію виконати всі свої зобов’язання в рамках Угоди про припинення вогню 2008 року, включаючи виведення своїх сил на доконфліктні позиції та надання вільного доступу для гуманітарної допомоги в ці регіони, а також скасування свого визнання грузинських регіонів Абхазії та Південної Осетії як незалежних держав".
