Канада может стать мишенью российских информационных атак и Украине готова предоставить свой опыт в противостоянии им. Об этом заявил посол Украины в Канаде Андрей Шевченко, -  передает "Укринформ"

«Следует понимать, что Россия ведет войну против всего свободного мира, а не только Украины. Ее можно называть гибридной, необычной или как-то иначе, но она все равно останется войной, и именно так к ней относятся в РФ. Я уверен, что они будут искать новые цели в свободном мире. Поэтому я бы призвал наших канадских друзей подготовиться к этому и оставаться сильными, а мы с радостью поделимся собственным опытом по противодействию информационным войнам. Мы знаем, что надо делать», - сказал Шевченко.

Он добавил, что российская агрессия проявляется во многих формах.

«РФ подрывает доверие к политическим системам, вмешивается в выборы, ведет информационные кампании против Западных лидеров, руководителей свободного мира... Нам следует оставаться реалистами, быть внимательными и правильно толковать ситуацию», - отметил посол.

При этом он подчеркнул, что канадское общество достаточно устойчиво к подобным нападениям.

«Канада никогда не переставала быть мишенью российской информационной агрессии. При этом Канада и канадское общество достаточно сильные, чтобы защититься от информатак такого рода. Это очень ценно», - подытожил Шевченко.
