Угорщина проведе муніципальні вибори 13 жовтня, заявив президент Янош Адер у п'ятницю.

Націоналістичний порядок денний прем'єр-міністра Віктора Орбана розсварив його із лідерами ЄС, але допоміг отримати сім переконливих послідовних перемог на виборах від 2010 року на рівні національному, муніципальному та Європейського парламенту - частково тому, що опозиція не могла об'єднатися.

Партія "Фідес" Орбана твердо очолює опитування, та муніципальне голосування стане випробуванням для роздробленої опозиції у спробі об'єднати сили та агітувати за єдиних кандидатів у Будапешті та інших містах.

 "Фідес" набрала понад 52% голосів в Угорщині на виборах в Європарламент у травні завдяки жорсткій антиімміграційній риториці.
