У Відні проходить інавгурація нового президента Австрії Александра ван дер Беллена, який переміг на виборах у грудні 2016 року.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда з посиланням на Kurier.at.

Зазначимо, що попередній президент Гайнц Фішер, який займав цей пост 12 років, склав свої повноваження 8 липня 2016 року в будівлі парламенту Австрії.

За інформацією видання, заходи з приводу інавгурації нового президента Австрії триватимуть весь день.

"Я буду безпартійним президентом, президентом для всіх людей, що живуть в Австрії", - цитує Александра ван дер Беллена прес-служба глави Австрії у Twitter. 

Раніше повідомлялося, що у новообраного президента Австрії виявили українське коріння. Прадід Александра ван дер Беллена походив з України.

Нагадаємо, у грудні в Австрії проголошені остаточні результати виборів президента країни, на яких, як відомо, переміг екс-лідер партії зелених Александр ван дер Беллен.
