Британський регулятор більше не дозволятиме зображати жінок і чоловіків у гендерно-стереотипних ролях.
 

Як пише The Guardian, з наступного року у рекламі для Великої Британії більше не дозволятимуть використовувати сюжети, де жінка не справляється з паркуванням автомобіля чи чоловік відмовляється готувати їжу у той час, коли його дружина це робить.

Нові правила для реклами забороняють показувати чоловіків і жінок у гендерно-стерепотипних ролях, оскільки це може підтримувати умови нерівної оплати праці та завдавати психологічної шкоди.

Реклама тепер не має показувати особу, яка не може справитися з певною роботою через свою стать. Приміром, коли показують, як чоловік не може змінити підгузок, чи жінка не може зробити важку роботу по дому.

Крім того, забороняється показувати, що зміна тіла може призвести до неймовірного успіху у романтичних стосунках. Також більш детально буде прописано правила зображення молодих дівчат у рекламі.

Нові рекламні стандарти повинні вступити в силу з червня 2019 року. Громадяни зможуть звертатися до регулятора галузі, якщо вважатимуть, що якась реклама порушує ці стандарти.
