Міністерство внутрішніх справ Таджикистану вимагає від власників компʼютерних клубів припинити розповсюдження ігор Counter Strike (CS) і Grand Theft Auto (GTA). Закони країни забороняють відео та ігри «насильницького характеру».

Про це йдеться в заяві МВС Таджикистану.

Відомство закликає не грати в CS і GTA, бо вони начебто демонструють сцени насильства й антисоціальної поведінки, а це суперечить культурним і моральним цінностям Таджикистану.

Правоохоронці стверджують, що між дитячою та підлітковою злочинністю і геймінгом є зв’язок. Тож дорослих закликають контролювати своїх дітей від впливу відеоігор. У місцевих комʼютерних клубах проводитимуть регулярні рейди, щоб не допустити поширення забороненого контенту.

Counter-Strike — це серія відеоігор у жанрі шутер від першої особи. Із CS проводять чемпіонати — наприклад, в турнірі Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 перемогли українські кіберспортсмени NAVI. А Grand Theft Auto — франшиза пригодницьких відеоігор у жанрі action-adventure, де гравець потрапляє у віртуальний світ у ролі злочинця, проходить місії та рухається по сюжету.
