Директор Агентства національної безпеки США Пол Накасоне заявив про створення спеціального підрозділу для боротьби з російськими загрозами в кіберпросторі.

Про це Накасоне розповів на щорічному форумі з питань безпеки в Аспені, повідомляє Bloomberg.

"Росія має великі можливості, на які ми, безумовно, будемо відповідати. Я створив російську групу –Russia Small Group. Це відповідає тому, що розвідувальне співтовариство робило після 2016 року, 2017 року", - сказав Накасоне.

Генерал Накасоне є директором АНБ і одночасно очолює так зване кіберкомандування - підрозділ збройних сил США, який займається військовими кіберопераціями.

Накасоне так описав стратегічну взаємодію з Росією та Китаєм: "супротивники, на яких ми повинні зосередитись на ранньому етапі і в майбутньому" .

Заява Накасоне з’явилася через тиждень після повідомлень про втручання Росії в вибори в 2016 році. Президент Дональд Трамп спочатку поставив під сумнів висновки американської розвідувальної спільноти про те, що Росія втрутилась у вибори, а потім підтвердив цю оцінку.

Нагадаємо, 13 липня департамент юстиції США висунув звинувачення 12 співробітникам військової розвідки РФ  за хакерську діяльність під час президентської виборчої кампанії в 2016 році.

Росія заперечує будь-яку причетність до втручання в американські вибори, в тому числі й до хакерських атак.
