В Сирії розпочалися вибори в Народну асамблею.

Про це повідомляє агентство SANA.

«Вибори в Народну Асамблею розпочались о сьомій ранку за місцевим часом, 13 квітня. Обиратимуть 250 членів із понад 3,5 тис. кандидатів з усіх сирійських провінцій», - йдеться у повідомленні.

Всього в Сирії відкрилися понад 7,3 тис. дільниць для голосування, які будуть працювати до 19:00.

Тривалість голосування може бути продовжена на п'ять годин за рішенням Вищого судового комітету з виборів.

Кандидати почали свою передвиборчу кампанію 14 березня. Вона тривала до ранку вівторка, 12 квітня.
