Спікер Сейму Польщі Ельжбета Вітек призначила президентські вибори на неділю, 28 червня
 

Як повідомляє Польське радіо, про це Вітек оголосила в спеціальному зверненні до нації в середу, 3 червня.

Якщо у першому турі жоден з кандидатів не отримає більше 50% голосів, призначається другий тур, який відбудеться через два тижні - 12 липня.

2 червня президент Анджей Дуда підписав закон про винятковий порядок проведення президентських виборів під час епідемії коронавірусу, який раніше затвердив парламент.

Новий закон про вибори передбачає, що голосування пройде за змішаним принципом — на виборчих дільницях і поштою для всіх виборців, які перебувають на карантині, або хочуть голосувати дистанційно.

Термін повноважень чинного президента Дуди закінчується 6 серпня.

Перший тур виборів президента в Польщі мав відбутися 10 травня, але через спалах коронавірусу його було перенесено.

Напередодні соцопитування показали істотне падіння рейтингу президента Дуди на тлі пандемії коронавірусу.
