Префект Ватикану з комунікацій, монсеньйор Даріо Віган, повідомив, що Папа Римський Франциск має намір створити власний Instagram-аккаунт. Як пише Officiel-online, запустити свою сторінку понтифік має цієї суботи, 19 березня.

Повідомляється, що ця новина з'явилася майже одразу після зустрічі Папи із засновником і генеральним директором Instagram, під час якої вони обговорювали владу і вплив зображень на людей. Можливо, це і стало причиною інтернет-активності 266-го Папи Римського.

Видання зазначає, що раніше в Instagram уже створювали фальшивий профіль понтифіка, автор якого стверджував, що селфі Папи Римського на сторінці є оригінальними.

Додамо, що Франциск має також акаунт у Twitter, на який підписані майже 9 млн читачів.
