Виборці автономного утворення Молдови Гагаузії підтримали на виборах губернатора краю Ірину Влах, відому своїми проросійськими поглядами. Про це повідомила ЦВК регіону,пише Радіо Свобода

 Влах, що йшла на вибори як незалежний кандидат, отримала 51% голосів виборців. Її найближчий конкурент – Микола Дудогло, колишній мер столиці Гагаузії – Комраті, отримав 19 відсотків голосів.

Чинний глава Гагаузії Михайло Формузал вже привітав Влах з перемогою
Досі Влах була депутатом парламенту, відтепер, за законами Молдови, глава Гагаузії стає членом молдовського уряду.

Гагаузія – регіон, населений здебільшого етнічними турками-християнами, має економічну самостійність, але з молдовською поліцією, школами і судами.
Торік Гагаузія на референдумі відмовилася від інтеграції до ЄС і обрала курс на зближення з Росією.

Молдовські чиновники минулого тижня заборонили журналістам російського телебачення висвітлювати вибори в Гагаузії.
