На території національного комплексу "Експоцентр України" цієї осені відкриють першу чергу Музею монументальної.

Пам'ятник Енгельсу переїжджає з колгоспу на Харківщині до англійського Манчестера
пропаганди.

Про це заявив секретар Київради Володимир Прокопів, передають "Українські новини".

Міський чиновник прогнозує, що цей музей може увійти до топ-10 визначних пам'яток столиці. Його експонатами стануть монументальні скульптури, надані місцевою владою або приватними колекціонерами.

Бюджет проекту становить 15-20 мільйонів гривень.

За словами керівника проекту Максима Бахматова, проект буде профінансовано за рахунок приватних осіб та інвесторів без залучення державних коштів.

Скульптури розташуються на алеях Експоцентру на площі близько 2 га. Проект будуть здавати чергами, першу з яких запустять восени 2017 року.

Нагадаємо, за півтора року внаслідок декомунізації 

В Українському інституті нацпам'яті відзвітували про підсумки декомунізації. Інфографіка
було демонтовано 2389 пам'ятників, з яких 1320 "ленінів". У публічному просторі України з'явилось 52 480 нових назв: 51493 вулиці та 987 населених пунктів.
