У неділю, 5 січня, у Хорватії відбувається другий тур виборів президента, пише РБК-Україна.

Жоден з кандидатів під час першого туру, 22 грудня, не набрав більше половини голосів. До другого туру вийшли експрем'єр-міністр Зоран Мілановіч, який набрав 29,5% голосів. Чинний президент Колінда Грабар-Кітаровіч, яка балотується на другий термін, отримала 26,7% голосів. 

За даними Державної виборчої комісії Хорватії, право голосу на цих виборах мають більш 3,85 млн виборців, зокрема, майже 177 тис. проживають за кордоном. Населення республіки складає 4,1 млн осіб.

Слід зауважити, що Хорватія перейшла на посаду ротаційного головування в Євросоюзі 1 січня вперше після приєднання до блоку в 2013 році. Це означає, що найновіша держава-член ЄС матиме завдання контролювати розлучення Британії з союзом 31 січня.

Як повідомлялося, у неділю, 22 грудня, в Хорватії відбулося голосування в першому турі президентських виборів. Переможця виявлено не було.
