Голосування на місцевих виборах триває у штатному режимі, надзвичайних подій на виборчих дільницях не зафіксовано.

Зазначається, що, за повідомленням Нацполіції, всі 532 виборчі дільниці на перших та 66 – на додаткових виборах відкрилися вчасно, о 8.00.

Станом на 10.00 надзвичайних подій на виборчих дільницях не зафіксовано. Перші місцеві вибори відбуваються у 86 ОТГ (69 сільських, 16 селищних, 1 міської) у 21 області України, а додаткові місцеві вибори – у 33 ОТГ (20 сільських, 13 селищних) у 17 областях України.

За попередніми підрахунками, у перших виборах зможуть взяти участь понад 380 тисяч виборців, у додаткових – понад 35 тисяч виборців.

Для проведення перших виборів територіальними виборчими комісіями було утворено 1 734 територіальних, одномандатних виборчих округів, додаткових – 139 округів.

Протягом чотирьох попередніх років, з 25 жовтня 2015 року до 30 червня 2019 року, Центральною виборчою комісією було призначено перші місцеві вибори у 896 об'єднаних територіальних громадах. Відтак, після проведення виборів 22 грудня загальна чисельність усіх призначених перших виборів в ОТГ становитиме 982.
