У Чилі на виборах перемогла Джованна Грандоні — жінка, яка прославилася тим, що приєдналася до протестів в країні у костюмі покемона Пікачу. Її обрали в орган, який розробить нову конституцію.

Про це повідомляє аргентинська газета La Nación.

Грандон набрала на виборах в одному з округів столиці країни Сантьяго понад 16 тисяч голосів й тепер займеться розробкою нової конституції у складі спеціального органу, який складається зі 155 осіб.

Поміняти Основний закон у Чилі вирішили після протестів 2019 року, що спалахнули через нерівності доходів.

Тоді ж про Грандон дізналась вся країна – колишня водійка шкільного автобуса брала участь майже у всіх мітингах в костюмі героя манги й аніме покемона Пікачу, щоб привернути увагу молоді.
