Британська компанія Gigaclear у тестовому режимі почала підключати абонентів до надшвидкісної широкосмугової мережі п'ятого покоління (5G).

Про це передає Еспресо.TV.

Швидкість завантаження даних в її мережі в 200 разів перевищує середні показники по Британії, наприклад, скачування відео вагою півтора гігабайти займе у абонентів близько шести секунд.

Випробувати нові швидкості поки що може лише невелика кількість абонентів. Серед них представники великого і середнього бізнесу, а також ряд домогосподарств в англійському графстві Оксфордшир.

Активно підключати клієнтів до нових мереж оператор почне з січня 2016 року.
