 Міністерка культури Великої Британії Ліза Нанді звернулася до YouTube і TikTok із закликом просувати більш якісний освітній контент для дітей. Пише The Guardian.

 Останні статистичні дані свідчать, що десять років тому діти дивилися телевізор у середньому дві години на день, зараз цей показник скоротився на понад 70%. Замість цього діти у віці 4-8 років переходять на YouTube, TikTok та інші стрімінгові платформи.

Ми бачимо, що все більше і більше дітей переходять на платформи для обміну відео, такі як YouTube, і знаходять там свій власний контент, який часто не настільки якісний, як контент, що виробляють суспільні та комерційні мовники, і це викликає занепокоєння в уряді,— наголосила Нанді.
