8 червня у Британії відбулися загальні дострокові парламентські вибори, результати яких оприлюднили у п'ятницю, 9 червня.

Жодній партії не вдалося отримати більшості місць у парламенті. Через це тепер їм потрібно буде сформувати коаліцію або уряд меншинства.

Варто зазначити, що вибори у Британії відбулися достроково через те, що думки парламентаріїв щодо Brexit розділилися.

Лідери Європейського Союзу побоюються, що результати дострокових виборів у Великобританії затримають переговори щодо Brexit і підвищують ризик їхнього провалу.
