Ворожнеча між Президентом США і CNN триває. На цей раз журналісти телеканалу повідомили, що будуть бойкотувати різдвяну вечірку в Білому домі для ЗМІ. Про це вони повідомили видавництву Politico, пишуть Українські новини

"CNN не буде присутній на різдвяному святі в Білому домі у цьому році. У світлі триваючих нападів президента на свободу преси і наш телеканал ми не вважаємо, що доречно вирушати святкувати це в його резиденцію", - повідомив представник CNN.

Щорічний захід представляє можливість репортерам вільно поспілкуватися з членами адміністрації.

З тих пір, як Трамп посів крісло керівника країни, CNN був його улюбленим телеканалом, щоправда не у загальноприйнятому розумінні. Він любив критикувати телеканал, звинувачуючи його у створенні неправдивих новин.

У відповідь на заяву телеканалу прес-секретар Білого дому Сара Сандерс написала: "Різдво приходить рано! Нарешті гарні новини від CNN".

Минулого тижня Трамп розкритикував CNN, заявивши, що будучи відомим більш широкій аудиторії за межами США, телеканал створює про Штати недостатньо гарне враження. Він зазначив, що всередині країни більш популярним телеканалом є Fox News.
