З лютого цього року Twitter заблокував 235 тисяч акаунтів через порушення правил, пов'язаних з пропагандою тероризму.

Про це повідомляється на сайті сервісу.

Також наголошується, що щоденні блокування аккаунтів в порівнянні з минулим роком зросли на 80%. Часто акаунти блокуються відразу після скоєння терористичних актів.

Всього з середини 2015 року було заблоковано близько 360 тисяч акаунтів.

В організації заявили, що тепер необхідно менше часу для блокування.

Також в повідомленні говориться, що "чарівного алгоритму" для виявлення акаунтів, що пропагують тероризм, немає, але їх виявляють за допомогою технологій, які використовуються в боротьбі зі спамом.

У Twitter відзначили, що розширили команду, яка працює цілодобово. Також організація співпрацює з іншими соціальними платформами для обміну інформацією і досвідом, які допоможуть у виявленні терористичного контенту.
