Twitter дозволить вставляти онлайн-трансляції, організовані за допомогою сервісу Periscope, в опубліковані в соцмережі повідомлення.

Відео будуть автоматично показуватися в твітах в режимі реального часу або у записі, якщо трансляція вже завершена. Якщо клікнути по ньому, воно почне програватися в широкоекранному форматі зі звуком, будуть видні коментарі та лайки інших глядачів.

Раніше в Twitter дозволяли розміщувати тільки посилання на трансляції, для їх перегляду необхідно було завести обліковий запис в Periscope і встановити супутній додаток. Імовірно, нововведення також дозволить збільшити максимально допустиму кількість коментаторів трансляції - досі в Periscope існував ліміт на 100 чоловік.

Функція запрацює в iOS-версії Twitter в найближчі дні. Потім вона з'явиться в додатку Twitter для Android і десктопній версії.
